We are seeking young men and women, 16 years or older, to serve as Children Institute teachers in Taiwan and Hong Kong. This is an opportunity for you to be part of a team whose goal is to be used by the Lord Jesus to reach children with the Gospel. In the process, you will also be able to gain excellent teaching experience as well.

You will have a day of orientation in which you will meet the IBLP Southeast Asia Director Thomas Teh, and receive an overview of the cities you will be ministering in and learn what your specific responsibilities will be as a teacher. Also you will have a chance to rest and sight-see, become acquainted with new types of food, and enjoy the fellowship of your team.

Schedule

CI teachers will depart Singapore (Changi Airport) on June 27th 2011 to their respective country.

Training

CI training will take place during the trip. The practical hands-on experience of teaching children in a foreign country will develop teaching, communication, and intercultural skills. The teachers will have the opportunity to learn about culture, religion, language, and history of the respective places.

Application Details

Our IBLP South East Asia office is subsidizing the trip costs, so the total cost to you is $2995.00 USD. This price will cover your round trip airfare to Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, all hotel and food costs and internal travel expense in Southeast Asia.
