We are seeking young men and women, 16 years or older, to serve as Children Institute teachers in Taiwan and Hong Kong. This is an opportunity for you to be part of a team whose goal is to be used by the Lord Jesus to reach children with the Gospel. In the process, you will also be able to gain excellent teaching experience as well.

You will have a day of orientation in which you will meet Timothy Chen, the CI Director, receive an overview of the cities you will be ministering in, and learn what your specific responsibilities will be as a teacher.

Activities and Plans

There will be a break in the schedule on for Chinese New Year celebrations. You will have a chance to rest and sight-see, become acquainted with new types of food, and enjoy the fellowship of your team. You will then fly to Hong Kong, where you will conduct your fourth Children's Institute. After that, you will fly back to Taiwan for the final CI. You will then return home.

Training

CI training will take place during the trip. The practical hands-on experience of teaching children in a foreign country will develop teaching, communication, and intercultural skills. The students will have the opportunity to learn about Asian culture, religion, language, and history.

Leadership

The Team will serve under the directions of the IBLP International Department and Timothy Chen, the CI Director.
