This is an opportunity to be part of a team whose goal is to be used by the Lord Jesus to reach children with the Gospel. In the process, you will also be able to gain excellent teaching experience as well.
You will have a day of orientation in which you will meet Timothy Chen, the CI Director, receive an overview of the cities you will be ministering in, and learn what your specific responsibilities will be as a teacher.
CI Schedule:
Activities and Plans
There will be a break in the schedule for the Chinese New Year celebrations. You will have the opportunity to sightndash;see, become acquainted with new types of food, and enjoy the fellowship of your team. Afterwards, the team members will return to their various homes.
Training
CI training will take place during the trip. The practical hands-on experience of teaching children in a foreign country will develop teaching, communication, and intercultural skills. The students will have the opportunity to learn about Asian culture, religion, language, and history.
