Meeting Outline
for when your team gathers together
1. Affirm the Purpose of Your Team (Cry out in one accord)
We are chosen and redeemed by the Lord Jesus Christ to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength with no competing affections, to live out all Christ’s commands, to disable Satan in our lives, families, cities, and nation, and to train up sons and daughters to be mighty upon the earth!
2. Learn the Command of the Week
For each command there will be a video presentation with an accompanying 8-page booklet. This gives you the essential facts of the command, along with its personal application. As you go through the presentation, picture yourself giving this same information to your family. By the end of the year, you will have completed the forty-nine commands and fulfilled the requirement for being a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. (See Matthew 18:19–20; John 8:31–32; 14:21.)
3. Share a Minute Report from Each Family
It is important to give updates on what is happening in each family so that there can be more precise praying and encouragement to each father and also to the family members who know that there will be a report given about them—hopefully a good one.

4. Engage in Small Group Prayer
There are seven principles of effective prayer that are given to us by the Lord. Each man can apply these in praying both with his team and with his family at home. Also, it would be excellent to have a picture of the family of each man in the group with the names of his wife and each of his children so that they can pray for each one by name.
5. Intercede for City Officials (Cry out in one accord)
One of the significant purposes for a ten-man team is to make a positive impact in your city. God commands us to pray “for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth” (I Timothy 2:2–4). In Jeremiah 29:7 we read, “Seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.” It would be important to report on any meetings that were attended as well as specific requests for prayer that were shared with a team representative.
6. Set Goals for the Week
It is very important for a man to have very specific goals that are based on the purpose that is affirmed at the beginning of this session. When a man defines where he is going, those around him can help him to reach those goals.
7. List Individuals to Receive Salvation
God is glorified by the lasting fruit that comes from His sons and daughters. Each family should have individuals for whom they are praying, and there should be some time devoted during the meeting to cry out for these individuals. Whenever temptations come during the week, use them as a signal to pray for those who are not Christians. Within a short time, these individuals should be responding to Christ as their Savior.
8. Consider Each Other’s Financial Needs
The love that each member of the team has for God should also be demonstrated by “distributing to the necessity of saints” (Romans 12:13). This is a byproduct of one accord. (See Acts 4:24–32.)
