The Family Connections team is excited to announce the 2016 Family Connections trip! For the last two years, a team has had the privilege of traveling around the US and Canada, meeting with families and individuals all over the country with the purpose of encouraging them in their walk with the Lord and in centering their lives on His Word. 

Saturday, June 25th marks the first all-day-Saturday Family Connections meeting of 2016 — to be held in Big Sandy, TX. The team will go on to have all-day meetings in 11 other major cities in the US and Canada, along with more than 20 smaller, week-day evening meetings, and wrapping up the trip with a meeting in Orlando, Florida, on Saturday, September 24th. It is our prayer and desire that these meetings would encourage families to hunger and thirst after the Word of God and introduce them to other families in their area who want to know and follow the Lord Jesus Christ in a deeper way.

The meetings are free, and we are having the meetings all over the country to make it easier for more to attend. The all-day Saturday meetings in the major cities will start at 9 AM and go until 5 PM, with a break for lunch — a fellowship meal where families bring a dish to share. Most of the evening meetings will start at 5:30 PM with a fellowship meal, and finish around 9:00 PM. 

*NEW* Children’s Program and ALERT Cadet Encounter at each all-day meeting!

We plan to have a children’s program at each all-day event, with stories, games, and activities for children ages 4-12. We also plan at each all-day event to have a special ALERT Cadet Encounter for young men ages 8-17, where the young men participate in various activities as well as be encouraged in their walk with the Lord.

1. Pray!

Several families last year made it their special prayer mission to follow the team on the map and pray for each meeting. This is critically important for the lasting impact and fruitfulness of the trip. Would you purpose to join us in prayer?

Our desire is that God will use the encouragement from His Word and the fellowship with other believers in your area to strengthen your family in these trying times.
