Held each January, the Australian Family Conference is a blessing to the families, and this year was no exception. The messages encouraged attendees to seek the Lord in all areas of life, and fed souls with the meat of the Word. Several people came from the United States to help with the conference as speakers and in the various programs.

While the parents were being strengthened in their sessions, the children were also learning. The primary school children experienced a Great Safari while exploring what it means to have Christ guide your life. The conference highlight for most of the attendees was the fellowship around meals. Sharing stories and ideas over good food is an encouragement to each family. We praise God for the way He met with us as we sought Him.

Following the Family Conference, a student conference was held for the young people, many of whom served during the Family Conference. The students were encouraged to see the certainty of their hope in the Lord and to live a life run on the fuel of God’s grace rather than their own efforts. 

Starting the New Year with an encouraging and challenging conference gives the Australian families a much-needed boost in their walk with the Lord.
