Fathers’ Hearts Stirred, Respond to Men’s Session at Family Conference
On October 12, 2019, hundreds of people gathered in Big Sandy, Texas, for the twentieth ALERT Family Camp. The International ALERT Academy campus was abuzz with happy children riding bikes, young people laughing together, and couples catching up with friends.
On Monday, August 26th, the Northwoods Conference Center bustled to life as one family after another arrived for a week of sweet fellowship, fun memories, and spiritual growth. Michigan welcomed them for what some call “the best time of year in the Upper Peninsula.”
The Scripture being sung brought tears to the eyes of the listeners. With joy and vibrancy, the 2019 Sound Foundations Class musically proclaimed, “Worthy is the Lamb. . . ."

This February the 2019 Mens' Conference took place in Oak Brook, IL, on February 7–9. Pastor Gary Fraley and Gil Bates spoke several times. Husbands and fathers, were reminded of ways to show love and support to their wives and children.
This year we have planned five conferences in three locations, an air conditioned meeting facility in Big Sandy, a new registration discount, and a Sound Foundations course!

The second Northwoods Family Conference of the year took place August 28–31, 2018. Families filled the NWCC to hear several speakers, including Keith & Jenny Daniel who traveled from South Africa.
IBLP Romania is seeing God’s hand at work! The following is a report from one of the staff members in Romania. Character Training for Teachers Accredited in Romania! Thank you for your prayers for the Lord’s work in Romania. The IBLP ministry has seen much fruit this year, for which we praise and thank God. Now with the nationwide accreditation of the teachers’ character elective, we expect more educators to enroll. The second version of the online platform is finalized also to accommodate the increased number of individuals taking the course this fall. Earlier this quarter, I had the opportunity to submit to the Minister of Education’s office the Biblically-themed placemats for evaluation. If approved, they will be used by parents and schools that choose to apply them as supplemental material for religion classes! At the beginning of the year, the placemats met with overwhelming approval from one member of the Minister of Education’s office, so we are hopeful that the other members will soon be approving this teaching tool.
