Skills Training for Emergency Preparedness, or STEP, is a program designed to help enrich young women in spiritual and personal disciplines, physical fitness, and emergency skills that will prepare them to fulfill the calling God has for their lives.

The ALERT Cadet program is a “toolbox” that encourages fathers as they seek to gain and keep the hearts of their sons ages 8—17-years-old.

It is amazing to see what doors God can open when we are sensitive to the leading of His Holy Spirit.

IBLP is actively involved in ministry around the world. Recently we received reports from Australia, Romania, and Hong Kong.

A group of our men spent May 8-10 on a deployment to Durant, Mississippi, one of many towns affected by the tornadoes that swept through the South at the end of April.

After a tree is planted, it takes time before fruit is produced. Similarly, fruit is finally being seen from the seeds planted among Ukrainian youth leaders seventeen years ago.

A Family Conference was held May 23-27, 2017, in the beautiful hills of Toccoa, Georgia. Families gathered from many states throughout the East Coast, some even traveling from as far away as California and Washington on the West Coast. 

A Family Workshop was held in Mexico March 16-18, 2017, at the IBLP Training Center in Guadalajara. There were positive responses and good feedback from those who participated.

The Journey to the Heart team was a little uncertain about taking the Journey to Florida, but decided to give it a try. However, after everything was said and done, the team was so thankful they did.

“Trust in the Lord” was the theme of this year’s Big Sandy Family Conference. Many families heard life-changing messages, enjoyed heartwarming fellowship, and attended the available practical workshops.

From across the United States, approximately 50 volunteers excitedly gathered recently to conduct the Journey to the Heart program for the incarcerated.

Approximately 70 men met from February 23-26, 2017, for the first Fathers’ Conference which was held in Big Sandy, TX.

Families gathered at the International ALERT Academy Campus on February 19-26th for the first Family Week of the year in Big Sandy, Texas. The families came from near and far for a special time of fellowship and service.

Last November, families from five different countries traveled many miles to attend the annual Southeast Asia IBLP Family Conference held in Melaka, Malaysia.

Exciting new things are happening with Journey to the Heart this year! New locations are planned, including a Guys’ Journey and a Girls’ Journey in Florida and in Texas. 

We would like to invite your family to attend a Family Conference this year. The conferences will be held in the same four locations as last year. The first conference will be in Big Sandy, TX, April 25-29

The Shepherds of Christmas Have you ever wondered why God first proclaimed the birth of Jesus to a group of shepherds in the fields near Bethlehem? No doubt, the imagery of a loving shepherd caring for his sheep is a theme in several Scriptural accounts. The loving care of a shepherd for his sheep helps us understand the great love and compassion God has for us. He is our Shepherd Who supplies our needs (Psalm 23) and Jesus is the Good Shepherd Who laid down His life for us (John 10:11). God is loving and merciful, but He is also just and holy. What did the angel declare about God when he appeared to the shepherds the night Jesus was born? The angel proclaimed this was the day the Savior of the world was born—the Christ, the Anointed One of God. Christ the Lord would save the people from the enmity between God and man. The angel declared that through the Savior “peace” was possible between God and the inhabitants of the earth. The angel also said that God’s heart is “good will toward men.”  How was this to be done?
