Will Summers
Will Summers was assigned to 5th Special Forces Group as a member of ODA 595 (The Horse Soldiers). He was a Special Forces Communication Sergeant, and an Infantry Officer during his 25 years of service. ODA 595 was recognized for the most successful Unconventional Warfare mission in modern history. Their mission inspired the America’s Response Monument and the movie 12 STRONG. Will and his wife, of 26 years, Dawn, live on a small farm in East Texas with ten of their eleven children; their eldest son, with his family, are on active duty in the 82nd Airborne Division.
Rick Warner
Capt. Warner has been working alongside our ministry since 2014. With a heart for discipleship and a boldness that remains undaunted after 20 years in Mongolia as a missionary, Capt. Warner actively engages our community with the Gospel and encourages those around him into a deeper relationship with Christ—often using archery to illustrate concepts, or recalling profound life experiences from the past. If you catch him in a free moment, you’ll most likely find him scouting the lake in a canoe, spending time with his family, or in a meaningful conversation with a new friend.
Dr. Lew Sterrett
As a certified youth, marriage, and family counselor, Dr. Lew has a passion for biblical leadership development. Dr. Lew skillfully tames wild horses while illustrating our own spiritual stubbornness and our Master’s kindness to continue drawing us to Himself. Dr. Lew shares his “Sermons on the Mount” across the nation, encouraging and equipping others to surrender to the Master and become effective followers of Christ.
Jarrod Cox
Jarrod Cox has been in Christian ministry for over 15 years and pastoring for ten years. He is also an engineer, international lead auditor, and leadership development consultant. He is married to Christy, and they have four wonderful children together. He has his Masters in Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, where he earned the preachers award. Jarrod has a passion for developing pastors and teachers, counseling, and writing. He enjoys a variety of books and films when he is not playing strategy board games or traveling with the family.
Jesse Boulden
Col. Jesse Boulden has been with the ALERT Program since attending Basic Training Unit 40 in 2008. He is passionate about forging men for the kingdom of God and has served in a variety of roles, including Drill Instructor, Senior Drill Sergeant, Sergeant Major, Executive Officer, and currently Commanding Officer. He has been married to his wife Katy, an elementary school teacher, since 2020.
