Announcement of Interim President

March 14, 2014

The Institute in Basic Life Principles, Inc. remains committed to the vision and purpose of the ministry to proclaim the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to help people understand and experience His ways of life. As the Institute goes through a transition, it is important to have a leadership team that can review the past, evaluate the present, and plan for the future.

To help in this transition, the Board of Directors has chosen Dr. Tim Levendusky to oversee the operations of the Institute, as interim president, until a new president is selected. Many supporters and friends of the ministry are familiar with Dr. Levendusky because of his many years of service with the ministry. He began as a staff committee coordinator and regional coordinator for the Basic Seminar and then served as the director for different training centers in the United States and abroad. For the last several years, Dr. Levendusky has managed the ministry’s international work in Mongolia and South Korea.

Tim Levendusky received his Ph.D. from the University of Toledo and was an assistant professor in the physical education department at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX before joining the Institute in 1991. In June 2004, he married his wife, Angie, and the Levenduskys have one son, Josiah, who is three years old.

Tim Levendusky’s heart is reflected in his statement, “I am happy to serve in whatever way I can for as long as desired.” The Board is very pleased that Tim is willing to work with the Institute staff during this important time. Tim is a true servant leader and a man of prayer. We all look forward to helping him and working with him.
