Since January of 2016, online character lessons corresponding with IBLP’s Biblical Character calendar have been available for free download at iblp.org/character. Now, the 2018 Biblical Character Illustrated Calendar will have a corresponding printed children’s curriculum! The first in the series of new booklets with additional lessons is now available in our store.

The Biblical Character Illustrated Curriculum is designed to help you teach character with a focus on God’s Word and applying His ways in everyday decisions. Each booklet includes:

• An overview: This first section gives the “why” and “how” behind teaching character, dives into the definition of the featured quality, and examines related Scriptures to facilitate meditation on God’s Word and a focus on the attributes of our Lord.
• Four expanded lessons: Each of the four lessons focuses on an important aspect of how God enables us to demonstrate the character quality of the month. The lessons are comprised of a Bible story passage with questions to promote discussion as a family, a coloring page, a memory verse with ideas for practical application, and an activity to make the character focus in your home fun and memorable.
• Additional Resources: This section highlights a hymn and hymn story corresponding to the character quality, a salvation message (the beginning for any positive character development) to share with children, and a journal page to record application opportunities.

Many families have been blessed by the Biblical Character Illustrated Curriculum.
