ALERT Celebrates 29 Years

February 17, 2023

In January, more than 250 ALERT Alumni and staff gathered to celebrate ALERT’s 29-year anniversary. Men from past units encouraged attendees with messages from Scripture. Maj. Keon Pendergast (Unit 1) challenged listeners to practice every-day faithfulness. Sgt. Isac Dymesich (Unit 19) discussed the role of suffering and discipline in a Christian’s life. ALERT Director Maj. Jesse Boulden (unit 40) gave an update on the program and explained their vision and goals for the next few years. Attendees participated in a scavenger hunt challenge, PT and a cadence run with the current battalion, a snake walk, and gator ball. Everyone enjoyed the fellowship and people left encourage and refreshed.

ALERT is already planning for their 30-year anniversary reunion, February 8–11, 2024. Save the date and watch for more information!
