Within a short amount of time after announcing the Northwoods Family Conference, the available housing there was completely filled! A waiting list of families for housing began and has continued to grow as other families are interested in attending a Family Conference at the Northwoods. Because of the high interest in the Northwoods conference, we have scheduled a second Family Conference at the Northwoods Conference Center for August 28–31, 2018! We are thrilled that in addition to some of our already-scheduled speakers, Jerry Benjamin, and Keith and Jenny Daniel from South Africa also plan to join us. 

Family Conference is an event that many families reportedly look forward to with great anticipation, and this year is no exception. Hundreds of people have registered for the conferences, and more continue to register each week. Families all over the country are making plans to attend one of the 2018 Family Conferences. This year’s Family Conference theme is: “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins” (I John 4:10). 

With the addition of the second Northwoods conference, four Family Conferences are scheduled around the country: Big Sandy, Texas, April 23–28; Watersmeet, Michigan, June 5–9; Sacramento, California, July 3–6; and Watersmeet, Michigan, August 28–31. As always, the conferences will host enthusiastic speakers who are eagerly anticipating sharing messages from God’s Word to encourage and motivate attendees in a closer walk with our Lord Jesus. Speakers include Dr. Josef Tson, also known as the “pastor of Radio Free Europe” and one who has been in and out of prison for the cause of Christ; Tim Lee, sharing his heartfelt testimony of God working in this Marine’s life; Larry Guthrie and his intriguing stories of God’s illustrations in nature; the encouraging Duggar and Bates families, and more.
