There is no room for selfishness in the Christian life.  As we examine what we commonly refer to as “The Golden Rule,” may our hearts be stirred to see our selfish focus and shallow pursuits for what they are, and turn to Jesus. He has given Himself to us, and only by His life in us are we able to lay down ourselves to our Father’s will for the sake of others.

Do you ever have the subtle thought that you are better or more important than others? Do you ever overlook other people’s needs or perspective?
