Two weeks ago nearly 1800 people gathered in Big Sandy, Texas

For the past seven months, currently enrolled Advanced Training Institute (ATI) families have been receiving weekly emails containing a link to the ATI Family Weekly.

Previously, an attendee at the recent seminar in Tapachula, Mexico, sent a long letter of testimony. She had attended a seminar twenty years earlier; in the intervening years she lost contact with IBLP and subsequent follow-up. Now, two decades later, she is a professional educator and Children’s Ministry administrator, and her Tapachula church was hosting the seminar in conjunction with its 80th year anniversary she decided to attend the upcoming Family Conference in Guadalajara in February 2016, to find out more about CI. Here is the rest of her testimony letter, used with her permission: “With a bad attitude I went to look for the person who would teach me about the Children’s Institute, thinking, ‘I can’t wait to meet the one I will probably have to teach what to do with children!’ I expected to meet a mature . . . boring person, but when I [met] her . . . I will never forget her smile—and so young, so full of peace, so full of love and patience! . . . With no words she taught me how a true servant of God exemplifies His nature. Tapachula is a city in the far southwest region of the state of Chiapas in Mexico. It is the main border city with Guatemala (Central America). Recently in Tapachula, the seminar was held in conjunction with the 80th anniversary celebration of the hosting church’s founding. Eighty people attended the seminar. Among those present were several missionaries from other areas, as well as some who had attended the seminar twenty years ago as young people. One of those who returned for the seminar/celebration had attended two decades prior and now came as a pastor.  One lady, who was the director of the hosting church’s Children’s Department as well as the coordinator of the seminar for the anniversary celebration, agreed to have an IBLP Mexico staff woman stay in her home during the seminar. Later, the hostess shared with her guest how she had not planned to house anyone, since she worked as a teacher and did not want anyone to see her family’s home environment. Yet, in opening her home to the staff member, the two ladies—both hostess and guest—had opportunities to discuss various issues of life, including home, health, and child care. March 12-20, nine young ladies gathered in Northwest Arkansas at the beautiful Eagle Mountain Training Center for a “Journey to the Heart.” Each Journey is a unique and special opportunity for the participants to spend time with Jesus.

Two years ago in 2014, a pastor from Saint-Petersburg attended a Life Principles Course that was held in the city of Great Novgorod. He was so personally impacted by what he learned in the course that he invited IBLP to his church in Saint-Petersburg.

February 4th, 2016, marked the beginning of the second three-day Mexico Family Conference, and to summarize, the outcome was truly more than we deserved and hoped for.
